Hope you enjoyed the warmer temperatures while they were here!
Here is what we did today:
Choice Time: We had 2 choices today - playing with dirt and tumbling.
Circle Time: We read 2 stories. The first story was a short one entitled, "Germs Are Not For Sharing." We focused on ways to keep germs to ourselves by covering when we cough, blowing our nose into a tissue and throwing it away and the most important one - washing hands. The second book was "Dirt Boy." This was a longer story that told about a boy who didn't like getting clean and the adventure he had when he escaped one day when his mom tried to get him to take a bath. Angel helped us count 4 lions in the mystery bag. On Tuesday, Cael helped us count the 4 lions.
Snack Time: On Monday, Angel brought us strawberries, cookies, and orange juice. Thank you Angel! On Tuesday, Cael brought us muffins, grapes, and milk for snack. Thank you Cael!
Center Time: All of the centers were open and there was painting with scrubbers at the easel.

Today was stuffed animal day! Here is what we did:
Choice Time: We had a little show-and-share time with all of our stuffed animals. After that, we danced to music with our animals and read library books in a fort with our stuffed animals.
Circle Time: We read 2 stories. The first story was a library book, "The Humongous Hamster Goes To School." It was a story where a hamster went to school for Bring-A-Pet-to-School-Day. While at school, the hamster grew to be humongous and was a fan favorite. The other story was "Rhyming Dust Bunnies." This story was about 4 dust bunnies who loved to rhyme but they got so carried away with the rhyming that they didn't escape the vacuum cleaner and got sucked up into the machine.
On Wednesday, Andon and on Thursday, Brogan helped us count 10 teddy bears.
Snack Time: On Wednesday, Andon brought us chocolate milk and applesauce. Thank you Andon!
On Thursday, Brogan brought us strawberry milk and graham crackers. Thank you Brogan!
Center Time: All of the centers were open and there was painting at the easel.
Have a great day!

The other story was "The Bearenstein Bears, The Big Road Race." On Monday, Addison and on Tuesday, Ben helped us count 12 little cars.

Here is what we did today:
Choice Time: The three choices for the day were musical instruments, stretching rubber bands over cans and mini magnadoodles.
Circle Time: We read two stories today. "What Makes A Rainbow?" was our first story. It was a special book that made a ribbon rainbow as the pages were turned. "Where Is The Green Sheep?" was the second story. This book involved a mystery that wasn't solved until the very last page. The green sheep was fast asleep. We counted 14 dinosaurs today.
Snack Time: We made bagel cream cheese sandwiches. The children had to spread their own cream cheese with a real butter knife. Some were very hesitant to use the knife but they courageously all gave it a try. I am glad to report that no injuries occurred!:)
Center Time: All of the centers were open. We painted a group banner to hang in the hall. It turned out very pretty - be sure to come in and see!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Thank you to all who came to our Valentine's Day party and helped in any way! Our activities included Valentine Beanbag toss, Tattoos, Beading with special heart shaped beads, and Valentine Airplanes. It was tons of fun and we couldn't have done it without your help!
A few pictures are below. (My apologies to Thursday's class - I picked up my husband's work phone and was unable to use it to take any pictures. I hope you got a few on your own phones!)
