April 6 and 7, 2016 Wednesday/Thursday

On Wednesday and Thursday,  Sergeant Nelson from the Bettendorf Police Department came and talked to us about ways to be safe.  He advised all us on the importance of using car seats, seat belts, and helmets.  He also discussed street safety.  Sergeant Nelson showed us the equipment he uses for work each day and the police vehicle he uses while on duty.  He gave each of the children a badge, a trading card, a pencil and a coloring book to help them remember his special visit to our classroom. I hope all of you take a few minutes to discuss what your child learned today and reinforce some of the safety topics presented.

Circle Time:  On Wednesday, Mia helped us count 12 apples on the card from the mystery bag.  On Thursday, Jocelyn helped us do the counting.

Snack:  On Wednesday, Mia brought yogurt, rasberries, and and white milk.  Thank you Mia!  On Thursday, Jocelyn brought strawberries and chocolate milk.  Thank you Jocelyn!

Center Time:  All of the centers were open and there was painting available on the easels.

Pictures are below.  Have a great day!
