Choice Time: We played "Jump the River" backwards. We used markers on paper taped underneath the table instead of on top of the table. And we had some tanagrams if those two activities didn't suit their interest.
Circle Time: We read the story, "Yes Day!" about a boy who got the opposite answer he expected from his parents all day long. Because of this, he had pizza for breakfast, got to choose sugary cereal, and on and on. We also read the story, "What Will The Fat Cat Sit On?" It was a short story about a fat cat that caused the animals it lived with some concern. On Wednesday, Aubrey helped us count 5 purple hats on a card. On Thursday, Gus helped us count.
Snack Time: On Wednesday, Aubrey brought apples and milk for snack. Thank you Aubrey! On Thursday, Gus brought Scooby Snacks and strawberry milk. Thank you Gus!
Center Time: All of the centers were open and there were scrubbers to use to paint with at the easel.The older class got some fish to study and they are keeping them in the Center Time Room.
