Here is what we did today:
Another Mystery!
When the children came to school, the balance beam was already set up in the middle of the room. This caused the children to wonder what it was. Instead of telling them the answer right away, we said it was a "Mystery" and asked them to guess. Some said a bridge, some said a track, a river, one said a bed. The answer was revealed at Choice Time.
Choice Time: We had 2 choices today - play dough with scissors, and the multi-surfaced balance beam.
Circle Time: We read the Eric Carle story, "From Head to Toe." This is another simple story with great pictures. After I read it through once, the children were given the opportunity to read it with me the second time and many of them did! :) Kennedy(Wednesday) and Jackson T. (Thursday) helped with the counting today. We counted 12 buttons in the bag.
Snack Time: On Wednesday, Kennedy brought cheese sticks and apple juice. Thank you Kennedy! On Thursday, Jackson T. brought yogurt and apple juice. Thank you Jackson!
Center Time: All of the centers were open. The children were given the chance to use bingo daubers on fun shapes which we will put up in our hall for decoration.
Remember registration is at 9 am this Saturday. Call if you have questions.
